PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent disconnection of a wire electrode itself due to an increase in heat generation amount generated from the entire wire electrode supplied with electric power, and to protect a component that is brought into contact with the wire electrode.SOLUTION: A multiwire electric discharge machining system slicing a workpiece at intervals between wire electrodes arranged in parallel comprises: a plurality of guide rollers causing the wire electrodes arranged in parallel to travel in the same direction; an electric power supplying piece supplying machining electric power supply to the wire electrodes arranged in parallel; and a first cooling unit cooling a first part in which the wire electrodes arranged in parallel are brought into contact with the plurality of guide rollers. The first cooling unit cools the first part when the machining electric power supply supplies electric power to the wire electrodes arranged in parallel via the electric power supplying piece. |
