PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately establish synchronism of video content and sub content without depending on a throughput of a sub information presentation device.SOLUTION: In a sub information presentation device 2, when performing overlay display of sub content on video content, while considering that display timing may be delayed by generation and rendering processing of the sub content or the like, sub content is generated and rendered with a media time which is put forward just by a time corresponding to that processing. Specifically, based on a time of video content and a time of sub content generated from markers, a synchronism determination section 31 determines synchronism between the video content and the sub content. In the case where synchronism is not completed, a media time generation section 24 corrects the media time and in the case where synchronism is completed, a synchronized new media time is generated while defining the media time in that case as a criterion. Overlay display is then performed on the sub content which is generated and rendered with the new media time. |
