PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition and extinction operation buttons arranged at a main body front surface part of a gas cooking stove in which their operability is improved while preventing erroneous ignition at a burner when a body of user or a luggage contacts to the button from front side.SOLUTION: This invention relates to an ignition and extinction operation button 2 arranged at a main body front surface part 102 of a gas cooking stove 1 comprising an operating element 21 protruded from a button main body 20 to a front side of a cooking stove main body 10 and a supporting shaft 22 for supporting the button main body 20 in upward or downward rotatable manner. Under an off-state in which the ignition operation is not carried out, a front end part 210 of the operating element 21 is arranged more upwardly than the supporting shaft 22, the operating element 21 is depressed down from the position of the off-state to cause the button main body 20 to turn downward and a gas supply valve device 15 for the corresponding burner 12 is opened.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
