PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air blower having a structure which can be made thin.SOLUTION: An air blower includes: a cylindrical sliding bearing 22 which has an insertion hole 29 into which a shaft 17 is inserted and supports a rotor 11a rotatably; a casing 18 which has a bearing housing 20, holding a stator 11b on an outer peripheral side face and the sliding bearing 20 on an inner peripheral side face, and also having an upper and a lower surface opened, at a center portion on the inner side face, and is provided with a first recessed portion 21 corresponding to the sliding bearing 22 on the lower surface side; a magnet 33 for attraction which is arranged opposite to an end face of the shaft 17 on an insertion-directional side, and magnetically attracts the shaft 17 to the insertion-directional side; a thrust plate 34 which is arranged between the end face of the shaft 17 and magnet 33 for attraction; and a magnet holder 30 which has a second recessed portion 32 for housing the magnet 33 for attraction at the center portion, and is housed in the first recessed portion 21 to be fitted to the casing 18. |
