The invention relates to a wood product or natural fiber composite material product made from at least one lignocellulose- and/or cellulose-containing material that is provided with an adhesive and is cured or crosslinked in the desired shape, the adhesive being in the form of a formaldehyde-free amino- or amide resin based on glyoxylic acid esters as an aldehyde component, and to the use of such an adhesive for producing a wood product or a natural fiber composite material product.
