PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece which does not completely lose analog information represented by a pointer to the possible last minute even when battery voltage drops.SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece comprises: physical quantity measurement means which measures physical quantity; an information pointer 5 which is rotary driven by a motor to indicate a measured value of physical quantity; a scale mark part 8 which displays scale marks for indicating the measured value with the information pointer; display parts 16 and 18 which specify the upper and lower range of the measurement value of physical quantity at the scale mark part; a battery which supplies electric power to the motor; voltage detection means which detects a voltage of the battery; display change control means which expands the range for numeral display at the display parts so as to reduce the rotary driven range of the information pointer when the voltage detection value detected by the voltage detection means drops, and pointer position control means which controls the pointer position of the information pointer. |
