PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human body detection sensor which has improved detection performance and reduces erroneous detection.SOLUTION: A human body detection sensor 1 detects a detection object through an imaging section 26 which receives reflected light generated in response to light projected by a light emitting section 25. The human body detection sensor 1 comprises: barycenter specifying means 322 which specifies a position of a barycenter of the reflected light in a light receiving area; first determination means 323A which determines whether or not the barycenter falls in a detection area; second determination means 323B which determines propriety of a light receiving degree of a centroid pixel depending on a result of threshold value processing with respect to a pixel value of the centroid pixel; and detection output means 324 which outputs a detection signal indicating detection of the detection object when both the first and the second determination means 323A and 323B produce positive determination results. |
