PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically execute the inspection work of a production facility in an iron industry.SOLUTION: In a self-traveling inspection device 1 according to one embodiment of the present invention, a control part 15 switches means for estimating positional information of a device body 10 between a first position estimation part 11 and a second position estimation part 12 and controls a traveling part 20 on the basis of the acquired positional information of the device body 10, to advance the device body 10 along a predetermined route and controls an inspection part 13, to execute the inspection work of the production facility to be inspected. According to such a configuration, even when one of the first position estimation part 11 and the second position estimation part 12 cannot estimate the positional information of the device body 10 or the floor surface of a moving path is not flat, the self-traveling inspection device 1 can be advanced along the moving path, so that the inspection work of the production facility in the iron industry can be automatically executed. |
