PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a charger capable of generating power isolated from an AC power supply and charging a battery.SOLUTION: A charger comprises: a non-isolated type converter 1 which receives power as input from an AC power supply; an isolated type converter 2 which receives output of the non-isolated type converter 1 as input; and a battery which is connected to the output side of the isolated type converter 2. The non-isolated type converter 1 and the isolated type converter 2 include no electrolytic capacitor for smoothing AC power; and the isolated type converter 2 does not have a function for adjusting voltage. |
