PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably perform both equalization processing for output voltages of unit batteries that a battery pack includes and calculation processing for full charging amounts of the unit batteries.SOLUTION: A control device 50 calculates variation amounts of charging/discharging amounts of a plurality of unit batteries C1-Cn respectively based upon detected currents. Further, the control device calculates charging states SOC of the plurality of unit batteries C1-Cn respectively based upon detected voltages. Then the control device calculates variation amounts &Dgr;SOC of the charging states in a period between first time and second time as a full charging amount calculation period by using the charging states SOC, and calculates full charging amounts Ahf of the plurality of unit batteries respectively based upon the variation amounts &Dgr;SOC of the charging states and the variation amount &Dgr;Ah of charging/discharging amounts in the full charging amount calculation period. Further, specific unit batteries among the plurality of unit batteries are discharged based upon the respective output voltages of the plurality of unit batteries to equalize the output voltages of the plurality of unit batteries. Further, the full charging calculation period and an implementation period of equalization discharging are inhibited from overlapping with each other. |
