摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor required for operation of evaluating and adjusting feeling during steering.SOLUTION: A lateral acceleration estimation unit 21 estimates a lateral acceleration Ay from a steering torque Ts and a base assist command Tb. A target generation unit 22 converts the lateral acceleration Ay to a target steering torque Tid using a conversion map. A deviation calculation unit 23 calculates a torque deviation that is a difference between the steering torque Ts and the target steering torque Tid. A controller 24 generates the base assist command Tbfor generating an assist torque (also "assist amount") such that the torque deviation is zero, that is, the steering torque Ts follows the target steering torque Tid, on the basis of the torque deviation. At a time of an operation for evaluating and adjusting the conversion map, an operator can carry out the operation relying on sensible and familiar information of the lateral acceleration Ay.
