PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate corona discharge and to efficiently take ions to be generated by the corona discharge to the outside to effectively eliminate static electricity of a static elimination object.SOLUTION: An ionizer 1, which eliminates static electricity of a static elimination object by positive and negative ions to be generated by corona discharge, has: a corona electrode 3A having a discharge electrode 6A and a ground electrode 8A, and in which the tip part 6Aa of the discharge electrode 6A and the ground electrode 8A are arranged at the closest distance L1; and a corona electrode 3B having a discharge electrode 6B and a ground electrode 8B, and in which the tip part 6Ba of the discharge electrode 6B and the ground electrode 8B are arranged at the closest distance L2. The corona electrode 3A and the corona electrode 3B are oppositely arranged at distance g so that their tip parts 6Aa, 6Ba face each other, and both L1, L2 are smaller than 1/2 of g. |
