PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door frame manufacturing method capable of manufacturing an erect pillar sash having a glass run support member and an outer member through a fewer steps than conventional steps, and a vehicle door frame.SOLUTION: A vehicle door frame manufacturing method includes the step of forming a glass run support member by roll molding or extrusion molding, and the step of press-molding an outer member. The vehicle door frame includes a glass run holding part 60 formed on a frame inner peripheral side, a glass run support member 42 extending in a vertical direction, an outer member 43 bonded to the outer peripheral surface of the glass run support member to vertically extend, the lower end of the outer member being located above the lower end of the glass run support member, and a platelike exterior member fitting part 50 formed at the vehicle outside end of the outer member. |
