[Class 20 (iii)] Glass panels 14 enclosed in a channelled rubber frame 16 are mounted within an opening formed by meeting flanges on the edge of the cowl 3 and of the inner stamping 4. These flanges are covered by two limbs of a Z-shaped weatherstrip 1, while the third inner limb at the rear encloses a flange of the moulding 5. Behind the channel 16 an inside moulding 19 is secured by screws 2. A part of the central pillar 7 separating two panels is integral with the stamping 4 and is spot-welded to a strip 8 forming the core of the division pillar. The rear part of the weatherstrip 1 is cut away at the division pillar, so that the part 11 of the weatherstrip can be snapped over the centre pillar core. An inner divisionmoulding 17 is secured by screws 18 and nuts 10.</p> |
