The truck has an internal combustion engine (1), an electrical drive unit (7) e.g. three-phase alternating current synchronous motor, and a controller (11) for controlling the combustion engine. A generator (2) is driven by the combustion engine, and an electrical controller (9) is provided for controlling the drive unit. A load determining device (13) is provided for determining a load of the combustion engine. A subtraction device is provided for comparing the determined load of the combustion engine and a reference load of the combustion engine. An independent claim is also included for a method for the operation of an industrial truck. |
