PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel separation system capable of suppressing power consumption and shortening a period of time required for fuel separation and transfer of separated high octane number fuel.SOLUTION: A fuel separation system 1 includes: a negative pressure pump 141 of which an intake side is connected to an upper space 146 in a high octane number fuel buffer tank and an exhaust side is connected to a storage part 155 in a high octane number fuel tank; a pressure control valve 142 for opening or blocking a first communication passage 144 providing communication between the intake side of the negative pressure pump 141 and an upper space 154 in the high octane number fuel tank; a first check valve 143 for preventing a flow of fuel from a high octane number fuel tank 15 in a second communication passage 145 providing communication between a storage part 147 in the high octane number fuel buffer tank and the upper space 154 in the high octane number fuel tank; and a second check valve 131 for preventing a flow of fuel from a high octane number fuel buffer tank 14 in a third communication passage 133 providing communication between a condenser lower part 134 and the upper space 146 in the high octane number fuel buffer tank. |
