PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine for a vehicle which enables downsizing of a case for housing a control board.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine 100 for a vehicle includes: a rotor 20; a stator; a power converter 3 (3A, 3B); a control board 102; and a substrate case 80. The power converter includes multiple MOS modules 3AU, 3AV, 3AW, 3BX, 3BY, 3BZ including a MOS transistor 30 at the high side and a MOS transistor 31 at the low side. A control circuit 8 which controls the power converter is mounted on the control board 102. The substrate case 80 houses the control board 102 and is fixed to a rear part 40A of a frame 4 by four fixing parts 82B disposed at the inner diameter side relative to an outer periphery part 82A. |
