PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire that can improve durability of a tire.SOLUTION: In a method of manufacturing a pneumatic tire, the pneumatic tire has a reinforcing layer comprising: a belt layer B (a first belt B1 and a second belt B2) and a reinforcing cord (steel cord S) wrapped in a helical pattern to an outer peripheral surface of the belt layer B. Moreover, the method of manufacturing the pneumatic tire includes: a belt layer installation step to install the belt layer B on a molding drum 11; a reinforcing cord wrapping step to wrap a plurality of reinforcing cords to the belt layer B; and a reinforcing cord cutting step that forms a terminal of the reinforcing cord by cutting the reinforcing cord. Moreover, in the reinforcing cord cutting step, the positions of the terminals of the plurality of reinforcing cords are displaced mutually and arranged to the tire circumferential direction, by a cutting device 15 that cuts the plurality of the reinforcing cords at the same time, while inclining a blade surface of the cutting part (upper blade part 151) to the tire circumferential direction by the predetermined angle α. |
