PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating releasing tool for cable in which circumferential notching and spiral notching can be performed and production costs can be reduced by simplifying a structure and decreasing the number of components.SOLUTION: An approximately C-shaped tool body 2 is formed from a cable receiver 3, a supporting shaft holder 4 and an arm 5. In the cable receiver 3, a cable 12 is disposed while making its axial direction parallel with a rotary shaft 13a of a receiving roller 13, and the cable 12 is supported at two positions in a circumferential direction by receiving rollers 13 and 13 at all the time. In a rotary blade mounting base 6, a rotary blade unit 11 is mounted freely removable so as to change a position between an orthogonal position orthogonal with the axial direction of the cable 12 and an obliquely crossing position obliquely crossing the axial direction of the cable 12 at a predetermined tilting angle for a direction of a rotary blade 10. By rotating the tool body 2 while holding the cable 12 between the rotary blade unit 11 and the cable receiver 3, the rotary blade 10 of the rotary blade unit 11 notches a sheath 12f of the cable 12. |
