PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which exhibits preferable luminous efficiency, driving voltage and driving durability that have little dependence on film thickness.SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element comprises: a substrate; a pair of electrodes consisting of a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and at least one organic layer including a light emitting layer. The at least one organic layer includes a chemical compound represented by the formula (1). (Rrepresents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group; L represents a single bond, an arylene group, a heteroarylene group, or a biphenylene group that has or does not have a condensed ring structure; Ato Aeach represent a nitrogen atom or C-Rto C-R, where at least one of Ato Ais a nitrogen atom; Rto Reach represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, a cyano group, a silyl group, an amino group, or a fluorine atom.) |
