The present invention is a resin composition for pressure vessels, which is characterized by containing (A) a vinyl ester compound, (B) a urethane (meth)acrylate compound having a weight average molecular weight of 2,000-8,000, (C) one or more radically polymerizable unsaturated monomers that are selected from among monomers represented by general formulae (1)-(3), (D) a radically polymerizable unsaturated monomer having no hydroxyl group and (E) an organic peroxide and/or an organic metal salt, and which is also characterized in that the mass ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) is from 95:5 to 30:70. This resin composition for pressure vessels is capable of providing a cured product which has characteristics required for a pressure vessel (namely, excellent impact resistance and excellent adhesion to a hollow container that is formed of a resin).
