PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emission guide rod that automatically switches between two lighting states: regular lighting when the guide rod is used with a traffic guide's behavior for indicating stop to a guided vehicle and regular flickering for a behavior for indicating the travel direction and permitting the progress.SOLUTION: A light emission guide rod has a light emission part with a light emitter 3, a power supply part 4, an acceleration sensor 2 for detecting a swing state of the light emission part, a control circuit 1 consisting of a swing state determination part 5 and a light emission pattern control part 6. A detection signal from the acceleration sensor 2 indicates an ON state only when an acceleration equal to or larger than a predetermined value is detected and an OFF state in the other cases. The swing state determination part 5 determines whether the light emission part is in a swing state or retaining state according to the occurrence of the ON or OFF state. The light emission pattern control part 6 makes the light emitter 3 flicker in the case of the retaining state and makes the light emission part keep lighting in the case of the swing state on a basis of the determination signal from the swing state determination part 5. |
