PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phthalocyanine compound that has an absorption at the near infrared region of 800-1,000 nm, and can contribute to the production of a more high-quality PDP and heat ray cutting film.SOLUTION: At least four at α positions of a phthalocyanine skeleton denote a monoalkylamino group having a 1-10C alkyl group, a dialkylamino group having a 1-10C alkyl group, a 4-6C cyclic alkyl amino group, a phenyloxy group that may have a substituent A, or a phenylthio group that may have a substituent B. The substituents A and B denote a 1-10C alkyl group, a 1-10C alkoxy group, a monoalkylamino group having a 1-10C alkyl group, a dialkylamino group having a 1-10C alkyl group, a morpholyl group, a nitro group, a cyano group, a trifluoromethyl group, a halogen atom, a carboxyl group, and an ester group or the like, and the number of substitution is 1-3. |
