A fluid machine is provided with a housing (23) and a valve block (38). The valve block includes: a valve-block high pressure port (40); a valve-block high pressure passage (42) extending in the valve block to connect the valve-block high pressure port (40) and the working chamber (24) via the high pressure valve (28); a valve-block low pressure port (44); and a valve-block low pressure passage (46) extending in the valve block to connect the valve-block low pressure port (44) and the working chamber (24) via the low pressure valve (30). The housing (23) includes: a housing high pressure port (48) connected to the valve-block high pressure port (40); a housing high pressure passage (50) extending in the housing from the housing high pressure port (48); a housing low pressure port (52) connected to the valve-block low pressure port (44); and a housing low pressure passage (54) extending in the housing from the housing low pressure port (52).
