PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a fault or failure of a solar cell easily, without using a dedicated device during installation or maintenance of the solar cell.SOLUTION: A string converter connecting a solar cell string changes a position of a voltage input from the solar cell string by external communication, measures the input voltage and an input current at that time, transmits a measurement result to an operation control computer, and displays voltage-power characteristics or voltage-current characteristics of a solar cell array, to determine whether or not a fault or failure occurs in the solar cell array. |
