The suspension arm for a motor vehicle comprises a first branch (1) intended to be connected to a wheel support of the vehicle, and a second branch (2) intended to be mounted on the chassis of the vehicle. The first branch (1) is shaped such that the general profile thereof comprises, between a connection area (Z1) for connection to the wheel support and a connection area (Z2) for connecting the first branch (1) to the second branch (2), a curve (3) essentially lying in a vertical plane when the arm is mounted on the vehicle.
