PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus which can prevent harmful effects on its surroundings by overheat of a heater.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes: an X-ray detector 22 which detects X-rays; a heater 70 which heats the X-ray detector 22; first and second sensors 711 and 712 which detect the temperature of the X-ray detector 22; a third sensor 713 for detecting predetermined substances in the form of gas which are generated due to overheat of the heater 70; and a heat controller 73 which controls driving of the heater 70. The heat controller 73 determines whether first to third data which are generated by detection signals from the first to third sensors 711, 712 and 713 are normal or not. When at least two data of the first to third data are normal, it controls driving of the heater 70. When at least two data of the first to third data are abnormal, it stops driving of the heater 70. |
