摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve manufacturing efficiency of an optical element with a simple structure, in an apparatus and a method for manufacturing an optical element in which an optical element material floated and heated in a gas is pressed.SOLUTION: A manufacturing apparatus 1 of an optical element includes: a plurality of heating parts 10 each having a heating member 12 for exchanging heat with gas, for floating and heating an optical element material 100 in the gas heated by the heating member 12; an energy supply part 50 for supplying energy for heating in the noncontact state to the heating member 12; a first mold 21 and a second mold 31 arranged oppositely; an optical element material supply mechanism for supplying the optical element material 100 heated in the heating part 10 successively to the interval between the first mold 21 and the second mold 31; and pressing parts (24, 34) for pressing the optical element material 100 supplied to the interval between the first mold 21 and the second mold 31 successively by the first mold 21 and the second mold 31.
