PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle fitting tool and the opening/closing braking device of a door body capable of temporarily stopping the opening/closing of a door body only by allowing an operator to hold a handle when losing his or her balance, resulting in preventing the falling of the operator.SOLUTION: A handle fitting tool is configured to fix a long handle movably in a vertical direction of a door body so that the handle can be given a first state that one end of the handle is butted to a floor surface and a second state that one end of the handle is separated from the floor surface. The handle fitting tool includes: a base member to be mounted on the door body; a movable member whose one part is mounted on the base member movably in a vertical direction, and whose other part is mounted on the handle; and a restoration mechanism for energizing the movement of the movable member such that the handle can be restored from the first state to the second state. |
