PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage for a railway vehicle in which a side beam can rotate around an axis along a sleeper direction with respect to a cross beam, and which suppresses behavior of the side beam in a yawing-direction etc. with respect to the cross beam by a simple constitution.SOLUTION: A carriage 1 for a railway vehicle comprises: a pair of side beams 30, 40 which are substantially extended along a vehicle travel direction, and arranged apart from each other in a sleeper direction; an axle box suspension 22 which supports an axle box 20 arranged in the side beam and holding an end part of a wheel shaft 10 through an axle spring 21; a cross beam 50 which is substantially extended along the sleeper direction and connecting the side beams at the intermediate part; and a bearing part by which the right and left side beams can relatively rotate around a rotation axis substantially along the sleeper direction with respect to the cross beam. The carriage 1 for the railway vehicle includes rotation guide means 80 comprising a pair of sliding members 81, 82 which are respectively fixed to the side beam and the cross beam in the outer diameter side of the bearing part, and slide each other on the sliding surface along a plane orthogonal to the center axis of the bearing part. |
