PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of efficiently recovering mud deposited by the inflow of rainwater and the like and accurately separating sand contained in the recovered mud.SOLUTION: A mud treatment system 100 is constituted by using a recovery device 101 for recovering mud produced by mixing soil with water, a separation device 102 for separating sand contained in the mud recovered by the recovery device 101, and treatment equipment (103 to 107) for treating the mud after the sand is separated by the separation device 102. The separation device 102 comprises a spiral flow channel through which the mud flows and a slit formed on a side of the spiral flow channel and drops and separates a part of the sand contained in the mud flowing in the spiral flow channel, and an introduction position where the mud is introduced into the spiral flow channel can be changed in the lengthwise direction of the spiral flow channel. |
