The device (100) has a desired component extraction unit (140,150) that extracts desired components, by identifying the desired components or undesired components from a distribution symmetry of components determined with respect to symmetry axis in predetermined frequency deviation. A channel characteristic combining unit (160) produces a second channel characteristic by combining the extracted desired components. An input unit (170) compensates channel distortion in the received signal after transformation into frequency domain by a Fourier transformation unit (110). An independent claim is included for a compensating method for performing channel estimation in channel environment. |
