PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for packaging a linear article bundle which is capable of stabilizing quality, while enhancing productivity of the linear article bundle, by restraining or preventing crushing and breakage of a linear article generated maybe when packaging the linear article bundle bundled with hollow fabric membranes or the like while imparting a tensile force by a sheet-like material, and by allowing a continuous operation therein.SOLUTION: An apparatus 1 for packaging a linear article bundle 12 packages the linear article bundle 12 by a sheet like material 4, and includes at least a press-in means 7 for pressing the linear article bundle 12 into the sheet-like material 4, a supply rolling-up mechanism for imparting a prescribed tensile force to the sheet-like material 4, by supplying and rolling up the sheet-like material 4, a pair of opposed packaging mechanisms 8 and 9 for enclosing the linear article bundle 12, from a reverse surface side of the sheet-like material 4, in an upper part of the pressed linear article bundle 12, a linear article bundle rotating means for rotating the linear article bundle 12, and bonding/cutting mechanisms 10 and 11 for the sheet-like material 4 provided a just upper side of the packaging mechanisms 8, 9. |
