PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely perform an operation to form a canvas cylindrically by binding an end of the canvas used for a flexible coupling with a joint for the canvas, and also to fix a reinforcing wire material for the canvas without looseness.SOLUTION: A joint 3 for binding one end part 2a to the other end part 2b of a canvas 2 comprises an inner plate 10, an outer plate 11, and tapping screws 12. The inner plate 10 is provided with a lower hole 13a and the outer plate 11 is provided with a screw insertion hole 14a. A canvas side face of the inner plate 10 is provided with a recessed groove 13b partitioning off lower holes 13a, 13b. The one end part 2a and the other end part 2b which are put one over the other are held between inner and outer plates 10, 11 and coupled with tapping screws 12 to bind the one end part 2a and the other end part 2b together. Both end parts 8a, 8b of a reinforcing wire material 8 are held and fixed in the recessed groove 13b. |
