摘要 The present invention provides a method for producing a polarizer film, comprising: a first step (1) of coating a polymerizability liquid crystal combination containing polymerizability liquid crystal compound for displaying smectic phase, dichroism pigment, photopolymerization initiator and solvent and removing the solvent to form a dried coating film; a second steps of maintaining the dried coating film at a temperature at which the liquid crystal component contained in the dried coating film prepared by the first step is in a liquid crystal state, thereby orientating the liquid crystal component; and a third step of radiating a polarized light in a range of 45 degree-90 degree formed by the orientation direction of the liquid crystal component and the vibration direction of the polarized light on the orientated coating film, thereby obtaining a polarized light film formed on the substrate.
