PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more efficiently utilize hydrogen and oxygen acquired by a sunlight utilization system in which water-electrolysis is performed using a photoelectrode having an optical semiconductor catalyst.SOLUTION: A sunlight utilization system includes: a water-electrolysis part provided with a pair of electrodes with one side supporting an optical semiconductor catalyst and decomposing an electrolyte solution utilizing sunlight energy applied to the optical semiconductor catalyst, and a gas supply part provided with a pathway for supplying hydrogen and oxygen generated by the decomposition of the electrolyte solution to a plurality of gas-operated apparatuses that use at least one of them. The gas supply part distributes hydrogen and oxygen in an amount to be supplied to the plurality of gas-operated apparatuses according to the respective hydrogen and oxygen required amount of the plurality of gas-operated apparatuses. |
