PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a main spindle device in which a wiring member can be routed to an electric device disposed in the front part of the main spindle device without involving an increase in size of the main spindle device.SOLUTION: A routing hole 70 formed in a housing 50 and housing a wiring member 63 has: a first routing hole 71 having a front routing hole 74, a rear routing hole 75, and an inclination routing hole 76 formed diagonally by bringing the front routing hole 74 into communication with the rear routing hole 75; and a second routing hole 72 provided at a cross section different from the cross section where the first routing hole 71 passes. A bend angle &thetas; of a bend section P1 in which the front routing hole 74 intersects with the inclination routing hole 76 is &thetas;≤90°-tanμ, where μ is a friction coefficient between the wiring member 63 and the first routing hole 71. |
