PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that when light is obliquely incident to an optical element, light which is not totally reflected and thus goes out of the optical element is increased due to recess portions or notches in the optical element, so that the amount of light to a solar battery decreases and causes decrease of the power generation efficiency.SOLUTION: An optical element for a light converging type solar battery module for collecting light to a solar battery cell arranged on a substrate has a slit. The intersecting angle between the mounting surface and the slit constituting surface of the optical element is larger than the intersecting angle between the mounting surface and the outside surface of the optical element, thereby providing a solar battery module that can moderate the decrease in light collection efficiency due to variation of the incident angle of sun light.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
