PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve usability in processing a winding jam in a fixing device.SOLUTION: An image formation device comprises: a paper ejection sensor 22 that detects a recording material to be conveyed; a fixing device 30 that tightly holds the recording material, and fixes on the recording material a toner image not fixed on the recording material; a fixing motor 23 that drives the fixing device 30; and an engine control unit 201 that controls the fixing motor 23. The fixing device 30 includes: a fixing roller 31; a pressing unit 33U that forms a first nip part with the fixing roller 31 to press the fixing roller 31; and a heating unit 32U that forms a second nip part with the fixing roller 31 to heat the fixing roller 31. The recording material is tightly held by the first nip part to fix the toner image on the recording material, and the engine control unit 201 is configured to cause a drive of the fixing motor 23 to be continued when it is determined by the paper ejection sensor 22 that the recording material is wound about the fixing device 30 (T1003 and T1004).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
