PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystalline polyester multifilament excellent in abrasion resistance when applied to a high order processed product such as fabric, rope, fishing net or tension member.SOLUTION: There is provided a liquid crystalline polyester multifilament consisting of liquid crystalline polyester and having fusion degree between single fibers of 0 to 15, static friction coefficient between yarns of 0.15 to 0.35 and dynamic friction coefficient between yarn and metal of 0.20 to 0.50. There is provided the liquid crystalline polyester multifilament having total fineness of 50 to 3000 dtex, the number of single fiber of 10 to 2000 and further strength of 13 cN/dtex or more, variation of strength of 0.1 to 2.5, elongation variation of 0.1 to 2.5% and further raw yarn strength retention rate when twisting at 20 T/10 cm of 60 to 90%.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
