摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst for producing an ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene that makes it possible to efficiently produce ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene that has an inherent viscosity of 40 dL/g or more or a viscosity conversion molecular weight (Mv) of 12000,000 or more.SOLUTION: A catalyst for producing an ultrahigh-molecular weight polyethylene comprises a metallocene catalyst comprising a transition metal compound (A) having a specific structure, an organic modified clay (B) modified with aliphatic salt having a specific structure, and an organic aluminum compound (C).
