PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device capable of preventing a pressing member from being deformed by a pressing force to a heating part and an image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: A fixing device 36 has a pressing part 76 provided facing a heating part 66. The pressing part 76 includes: an endless belt-like body 72 running to follow the rotation of the heating part 66; a holding body 100 for holding the endless belt-like body 72 so as to be travelable; a pressing area formation part 104 provided on the holding body 100; and a pressing member 110 provided in the upper stream side of the pressing area formation part 104 of the rotational direction of the endless belt-like body 72 of the holding body 100, which is a pressing member having a flat plate part 113 along a longitudinal direction of the holding body 100 pressed to the heating part 66 side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
