PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device which is high in output and durability.SOLUTION: A power storage device comprises: a positive electrode; a negative electrode; and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution. The negative electrode has an active material layer including a hardly graphitizable carbon; the active material layer has pores of 0.1-1.0 μm in pore diameter, and the total volume of the pores is 0.26-0.46 cm3/g. The cumulative 90%-diameter (D90) in a particle size distribution of the hardly graphitizable carbon on a volume basis is 1.9-11.5 μm.
