OFFSHORE MARITIME ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM

Disclosed is an offshore maritime access control system which comprises at least two buoys (1, 1a) which, when in use, are anchored and separated from one another, defining a virtual controlled access line. Each buoy (1) comprises a camera (4) directed toward the other buoy (1). The camera (4) is coupled to a processor configured to detect in real time the presence of a vessel in the captured image and to send data related to the detection by means of a communication unit. Thus, images and/or photographs of the vessel can be sent to a control centre on land in real time.
