PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a striking mechanism of a clock that reduces the number of parts of the striking mechanism and allows easy adjustment of a rest position of a hammer.SOLUTION: A striking mechanism includes a hammer 1 including an elongate elastic stop 4, and an eccentric mechanism 3 supporting the elastic stop 4 in a rest position of the hammer 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
