PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscope system capable of displaying, in live observation, an area of interest being viewed by an observer with optimum brightness.SOLUTION: A microscope system 100 is provided comprising; an optical microscope 10 for observing a specimen S; an image capturing unit 20 that captures an image of the specimen S formed by the optical microscope 10; a monitor 30 configured to display the image of the specimen S acquired by the image capturing unit 20; an area-of-interest setting unit 52 for setting an area of interest, of the image of the specimen S, viewed by an observer on the monitor 30; and an exposure control unit 52 that controls exposure of the image capturing unit 20 based on brightness of the area of interest, of the image of the specimen S, set by the area-of-interest setting unit 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
