Novel isohexides and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same as well as methods of using the same in the treatment of psoriasis. In accordance with the present disclosure there are provided novel products which ameliorate, reduce and/or reverse the effects and/or manifestation of psoriasis as well as other disease conditions that share common gene expression profiles.
