Disclosed are a display substrate and a driving method therefor, and a display device. The display substrate comprises a touch control area, the touch control area being provided with multiple columns of touch control electrodes, and all the touch control electrodes contained in each column of touch control electrodes being connected to one another; in a touch control detection phase, each column of touch control electrodes within the touch control area is disconnected from other columns of touch control electrodes; and in a display phase, the columns of touch control electrodes within the touch control area are connected together to serve as a common electrode.
