摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an H-shaped steel product having a large flange thickness as compared to the conventional technique by performing edge rolling of an end surface of raw material of a slab or the like on suitable conditions when performing such a process that the end surface of the raw material of slab or the like is deeply wedged with a protrusion part having a tip shape of an acute angle and a formed flange part is successively folded.SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves of at least four which form material to be rolled are ditched on a rolling machine which performs a coarse rolling process, the forming of one or a plurality of paths of the material to be rolled is performed on the plurality of grooves, a protrusion part which is wedged vertically with respect to a width direction of the material to be rolled is formed on a first groove and a second groove of the plurality of grooves, the reduction of at least two paths is performed while the end surface of the material to be rolled and a groove surface opposite to the end surface come into contact with each other on the second groove of the plurality of grooves, a process for successively folding a divided portion which is formed by the wedging is performed on and after a third groove of the plurality of grooves and a tip angle on the protrusion part formed on the first groove and the second groove is 25° or more and is less than 40°.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
