The invention relates to a device (1) for using exergy, in particular a steam power plant designed for a steam power process, comprising a closed circuit (2), which is surrounded by air as an atmosphere having an ambient pressure (pu) and in which a working medium circulates. In the flow direction of the working medium, the circuit (2) has an evaporator (3) for evaporating the working medium at an evaporation pressure (pv), an expansion device (6) for expanding the working medium, mechanical work thus being performed, a condenser (11) for condensing the working medium at a condensation pressure (pK), a reservoir (14), and a feed pump (17) for conveying the working medium to the evaporator (3). In addition, a component for conveying the working medium into the reservoir (14) is formed after the condenser (11) in the flow direction of the working medium. Dynamic seals are arranged between the working medium within a region of the circuit (2) operated at the level of the condensation pressure (pK) and the surroundings, which dynamic seals are two-stage dynamic seals and are designed in such a way that the air surrounding the device (1) lies against the dynamic seals as a sealing gas, wherein the ambient pressure (pu) as the pressure of the air is greater than the lowest pressure of the working medium in the circuit (2), in particular the condensation pressure (pK) of the working medium. |
